About this course
Before an MPO can discuss a molecule with a physician, they need the language the physician is already using. This foundation module builds that vocabulary from the ground up — from the single cell, through tissue and organ, to the eleven systems of the human body.
Who this course is for
Newly recruited Medical Promotion Officers in the RPL and RNL induction batches, and any field-force member refreshing their basics before a product cycle.
What you will be able to do
- Define anatomy and physiology and explain how the two differ
- Describe the cell, its organelles, its types and its functions
- Explain the progression from cell → tissue → organ → system
- Name the systems of the human body and state what each one does

Assessment
Continuous assessment during the session. The formal written paper follows in the Cardiovascular & Blood Physiology module.
Delivery
Classroom sessions run 09:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:30, Saturday to Thursday, at Radiant's L&D centre. All lesson material is also available here for revision.
